2 things to keep

1. The idea of adding ‘Click’ function in Converge 1,2,4 is very useful, it combines several features in one plot which makes it much more informative.

2. Explore the value of EUI based on year, building type, …, it is a valuable and meaningful analysis.

2 things to change

1. It seems all the figures are almost focus on the direct relationship with EUI which I understand, but what about jumping out of this circle, make further considerations on other aspects like, how the style of building changes based on year and why is that, how that change influence the EUI… .

2. Regarding Converge 2 and 3 are including the same variable Year, it is possible to consider to merge theses two figures in a better way.

Two things to keep:

1.The diversity of sketches in the diverge part is inspiring and provides more options for actual visualization work.

2.The structure of the design work is evident as it follows the path: global-country level- local. The visualization work starts from the macro level to the micro level.

Two things to change:

1.Almost all sketches focus on the covid-19 situation: number of cases, deaths, vaccinations, etc. It would be better to remove some sketches since they represent similar contents and then put some sketches about population mobility and economic indicators.

2.Some explanations in the converge part are ambiguous. It would be better if there are some clear and detailed introductions to every converged sketch.

Two things to keep:

1.The visualization techniques are very rich, including radar map, hive plot, bar chart, map, and so on. They are very creative and enlightening to me.

2.In the divide stage, many sketches make the data presentation very informative and efficient. For example, the 18th uses the bar chart around the European map to enhance the contrast.

Two things to change:

1.The research question is very extensive. In the blog, you mentioned that you want to analyze the relation between trust and well-being for European countries, which is very common and extensive, so all the visual combinations can not completely provide the answer. Perhaps it can be broken down into more specific issues to create a strong premise for the project.

2.In the Emerge and Converge part, I think the layout should be improved, especially in the emergency part, which is a little inconvenient for readers to read, and I suggest that appropriate comments can be added.

2 things to keep

1. The graphs are mostly related to data visualization, not statistics. The creativity and originality of the graph is very good. The graphs are intuitive, useful, pretty and informative.

2. The diversity of the graphs are good. All graph types are different from each other and help visualize data from many aspects.

2 things to change

1. The feasibility of the graphs could be a challenge because the graphs are very creative. Studying tutorials and gain useful information from the course is essential. The complexity of the plots should also be considered, as there can be so many lines represent different observations.

2. In preliminary visual designs, there are very good sketches. However, not all initial sketches are presented from miro and the complete process of diverge-emerge-converge is not shown very clear from miro board. Maybe it is better to record in detail in all the process and make the miro board clearer.
